While this isn't the all-time lowest cost for these shorts (that would be $8.99/ea after discounts), it's a good price on a weirdly seasonal item that is only in stock in summer at Costco. These shorts are by far the nicest affordable everyday athletic short I've been able to find, with quality zippered pockets that don't pinch or get stuck and keep your pocket stuff from falling out. They're also made from a slightly heavier fabric than a lot of comparably priced athletic shorts, which is good for everyday going out and chores and whatnot when you don't really want the outline of... certain things to be plainly visible like with some ultralight shorts. The pockets are solid, not mesh, and comfortably fit a full-size iphone on one side and wallet/keys on the other.
