Many new laptop computers have built-in Wireless "N" capability, providing faster speed and better range. If you already have a "G" router and do not have a need for this new technology today, it may be best to hold off upgrading for a little while, until Wireless "N" becomes more popular.

Make sure there are no spaces before & after the eCode letters, otherwise it will not work.

In each of the above configurations, you have the option to have Windows Vista Business pre-installed with a Windows XP "recovery" CD included, or choose "downgrade to Windows XP" to have XP pre-installed with a Vista upgrade available. Either way, you can get Windows XP on that machine if you decide not to use Vista.

In those configurations, an upgrade to a 3 year warranty is available for about $85, and is recommended. Also a 8-cell battery upgrade is available for about $33, increases the weight of the laptop by about 1 lbs, and doubles the battery time.

The X61s weighs about 3.3 lbs and the Tablet weighs about 3.8 lbs.
